Summary: Led by owner Jill Billeci, the Nourish Napa team had the name and a business plan and needed a visually stunning brand to launch the company. Nourish Napa goal was to bring their love for delicious and healthy cooking to the Napa Valley cuisine market. With an initial focus on premade meals, such as soups and broths, they later expanded into the catering business with a niche in pairing their wonderful cooking with exquisite wines.
Results: The brand burst to life and brought fresh spice to a very well-established culinary scene. It amply reflected the owner’s love for cooking healthy and stunningly diverse meals with the freshest ingredients around. Even more so, it showcased the owner’s flowering personality, pure love for cooking, and the joy it brings to all who grace her plates.
With the name already chosen, the question of brand mood was the first task; would the brand be clean-cut and refined or messy like a kitchen mid-flourish? The answer we arrived at was a hybrid by utilizing clean bold graphic graphics with a blast of vibrant color. We wanted the brand to show off the strong culinary blend of Latin, Asian, and American foods with graphics that warm the heart and kick off the party. Piñata confetti was even the inspiration for the brand’s pattern.
Nourish Napa wanted to explore how its brand would interact at various touchpoints, from online social media to live cooking events. They also wanted to branch out to a healthy variety of mediums for their brand, such as cooking aprons, sustainable food containers, and even enamel pins to share. All of this was with the intention of getting their food from the chef’s kitchen to the people’s table.
With stunning colors and a fresh voice, Nourish Napa sprung into the Napa cooking scene. The Napa Valley, famously saturated with white-tablecloth restaurants and shiny wineries, was well receptive of this company’s far more playful approach. The personable head chef/owner, with help from her team, became as well-known as her cooking. She helped lead the brand with her hard work, dedication, and bright personality that was universally loved from in-person tastings to online social posts. The brand reflected her own authentic personality as they strove to bring the mouth-watering party to your plate.
