Watermark

Portland’s Premier Waterfront Office Campus

Work created at Think Joule

Deliverables: Brand Concept & Logo, Environmental Graphic Design, Photography, Iconography, Website & Print Assets

Summary: Watermark is a newly renovated office space in Portland, OR on the Willamette River and adjacent to the world-class amenities of South Waterfront. This flexible office space provides abundant outdoor access, combining urban core with nature galore. The Scandinavian renovations to the interior architecture inspired the brand as the identity and color palette strived to be as refreshing as the nearby riverside.

Results: Watermark quickly became a highly sought-after office for startups and established businesses alike. These companies were drawn not only to the building’s immediate access to nature, but the campus’s fresh and productive environment that combined new with respect to the old.

The brand was further anchored by custom minimalistic graphics depicting a fresh take on popular Oregon landmarks. This modularly-designed graphic pattern was printed at large scale at several locations throughout the property, and allowed its personalization to stand out among the competition.

The brand expanded seamlessly into signage and touchpoints, including a full set of custom icons that found their place in the brochure and website. All brand assets kept the experience focused on feeling the calm of the river and the sophistication of the space, with it all being thoroughly Scandinavian-inspired.
